 Practice reading and writing your sight words 

·     Use the “Sight Word Homework Menu” below for easy practice suggestions.

ABC Order Write all of your spelling words in alphabetical order (ABC )	Write each word 5 times each. Say the word each time you spell it.	Silly Sentences Write 3 or more sentences that use all of your words.
Picture Words Draw a picture and hide your words in the picture	Shape Words s sp spe spel spell spelli spellin spelling (or make them squares, circles, ovals, stars, etc.)	Search and Find Words “Write” your words by cutting letters out of a newspaper or magazine and gluing the letters on a piece of paper to spell your words.
Rainbow Words Write your words with colored pencils. Make each letter a different color.	Write a story, poem or song with words Write a story, poem, or song with all of your words. Underline the words you used.	Use Technology Type out your words on the computer or iPad
